Works may direct the whole area of the lot end of the

streets coloured green on the plan and protect the same

with a rubble mound finished with a pitched slope set in

cement mortar. The work to be done to the satisfaction

to*

of the Director of Public Works.

(g). A sun of 825 to be paid into the Treasury for boundary

stones, which are to be supplied and fixed by the Direct-

-or of Public Works.

(h). A sum of 830 to be paid to the Land Officer on taking up

the Crown Lease.

(i). In the event of the lot being resumed for public purposes

compensation to be paid for buildings only.

(j). The Crown Lease to contain a proviso that the lessee

shall have no claim to any access to the sea nor to any

compensation in the event of any reclamation being made

on the seaward sides of the lot.

(k). The Government reserves to itself the right to reclaim

the foreshore henever it thinks fit and without consult

-ing the lessee.
